Director

Claire has worked in the Lighting Industry for 8 years and specialises in Human Resources, Legal and Administrative activities.

Since 2005 Claire has been working with Mattalex Emergency Lighting Limited (MELL) to develop strategy and improve the day-to-day effectiveness of the Company.

Claire is proud of MELL’s various Quality related accreditations and strives to develop her own and the teams skills which are key to MELL’s continued success.

Peter Adams

Applications Manager

Peter joined Mattalex in 1994 as a Production Foreman since this time Peter has gained the technical knowledge and practical skills required to supervise and oversee the company’s specialist luminaire conversion service.

Peter is now Applications Manager, offering advice, solutions and technical help and support to both colleagues and clients within the specification and OEM markets.

Peter prides himself in responding efficiently and effectively to all challenges and customer requests by identifying and developing bespoke and economic solutions and maintaining Mattalex Emergency Lighting Limited (MELL) unrivalled commitment to Service, Quality and Innovation.

Utilising only the best quality components from recognised Electronics and Emergency Lighting manufacturers such as Mackwell Electronics, Teknoware, ELP, and Orbik. Peter recognises that MELL’s adaptability and versatility is the key to success.

MELL is proud of its various quality related accreditations which include in house conversions to meet ICEL1004:2003 as well as a strict adherence to the criteria set out in BS5266: Pt 1: 2005 and BS EN1838.

In 1998, Mattalex Lighting Limited was accredited with ISO9001, today Peter is instrumental in ensuring the accreditation is maintained and continues to work closely with colleagues to ensure this is maintained.

Peter’s role is of diverse nature, when he is not in the office or on the shop floor, he can be found either on site visits offering help, advice or rectification to installations or providing specialist training to colleagues and clients alike.

Peter remains as enthusiastic about his role today as when he first entered his chosen field some 14 years ago with MELL now part of WILA Group Limited, he is proud and enjoys the freedom he is given to express his passion for all Emergency Lighting Applications.

Phillip Collett

Sales Engineer

Phillip joined Mattalex in February 2008 as Sales Engineer.

Phillip's key focus is to develop sales nationwide and respond to customers requests by identifying and developing solutions with the Mattalex Team.

Phillip strives to develop his own skills in line with Mattalex Emergency Lighting Limited (MELL) Service, Quality & Innovation (SQI) objectives.
